Certain words may appear to be ‘disyllabic adjective + noun’ without 的de after the adjective. This is because they are considered to be one word, not two words. Examples:

年轻人

nián qīng rén

youth; young person

古典音乐

gǔ diǎn yīn lè

classical music

流行歌曲

liú háng gē qǔ

pop songs
