Definite frequency refers to expressions that denote the period of time by which the frequency is measured. They include: ‘měitiān’ (daily), ‘měi zhōu’ (weekly), ‘měi liǎng gè xīngqī’ (fortnightly), ‘měi gè yuè’ (monthly), ‘měi liǎng nián’, (biannually), ‘měi bànnián’ (semi-annually), ‘měi xiǎoshí ’(hourly), ‘měi zhōu liǎng cì’ (twice every week), etc.
