当涉及对象是不同事物时，或指不同事物间的中间位置时，用between；当涉及对象是一群同一类事物，或指某物在其他事物中间的位置时，用among:
The money was divided equally between Paula, Musa and Sim.
The money was divided among the girls.
The house stood between the park and the cinema.
The house stood among a row of other houses.
