Unlike English sentences, which must be marked as active voice or passive voice structures, the absence of passive markers is allowed in Chinese sentences expressing passive voice due to the existence of "Topic-Comment" sentence structure in Chinese grammar.

房子建好了 (fáng zǐ jiàn hǎo le/ The house has been built.)

書出版了 (shū chū bǎn le/ The book is published.)
