"in 5 minutes" 和 "for 5 minutes" 有何不同?

In 的空間原型是「在範圍內」,強調界線範疇(boundary);而 for 則是標記「一段持續的時間」,強調持續時程(duration):

He will be here in 5 minutes. → 5 分鐘內會到這裡 (界線範圍)

He will be here for 5 minutes. → 會待在這 5 分鐘 (持續時間)

I will finish my talk in 30 minutes, and will answer questions for 10 minutes. 

→ 我會在半小時內結束演講,然後會有 10 分鐘回答問題。
