打貪 (anti-corruption), 打黑 (anti-gangster), 打假 (anti-counterfeiting) and 打私 (anti-smuggling) are disyllable words derived from phrases or sentences, and called abbreviation. The verb 打 (hit) is usually followed by a target. Normally, the target is a patient. In these cases, the targets are criminal activities.
