"Take a walk" 和 "walk" 兩種說法有何不同?

這個問題的關鍵在於受詞的基本溝通功能。I walked. 就是單純地報告我的動作,不涉及其他人或者其他物,沒有受詞的產生;但是 I took a walk. 所表達的是 V-O 的及物概念,把 a walk 當做可及之「物」,多了一個「物化」的動作性名詞。既然已物化,後面就可以再對比「物」加以形容或說明:

I took a walk in the morning. It (=the walk) was about two hours. And it (=the walk) was truly pleasant and relaxing.

多了一個受詞,就多了一號人物,就多了一個可以談論的角色。
